Mountain Home Distribution Center -- Water Intrusion
Some warehousing of products for distribution is more susceptible to water damage than others. Foodstuffs like peanuts, peanut shells, citrus peels, and the like do not react well to an overabundance of water. The water from the broken main deposited a large amount of standing water on the concrete floor of this Mountain Home warehouse. The increased RH endangered the quality of the contents, so the fast response from our SERVPRO team was crucial to preserving our client's inventory. By using a truck-mounted vacuum system along with a portable pump, we quickly extracted the water and set up air movers and axial fans to push the excess water vapor from the building. Our SERVPRO franchise has earned an excellent reputation for fast and effective commercial restoration services.
